Q: Who are you and where have you come from?
A: Born in London way back when... Moved to Australia when I was 12 & got into dance music around 94. Began mixing in my bedroom soon after that.
Q: What possessed you to start djing?
A: Quite simply, I love the music.. & I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing than sharing my love for music with as many like minded people as possible! DJing is just a means to my being as involved with music as I can be.
Q: Who are/were the biggest influences on your djing?
A: At the moment the biggest influence on my DJing is Armin Van Buuren.. The dedication to trance music he shows is amazing! he is truly a great music supporter & shows me that you can make a great career out of dedicating yourself to music!
Q: What was your first gig?
A: The first real DJ gig was Energy Express.. New years day recovery on Morgtuary station on NYD 1996
Q: What style of music do you enjoy djing to? and why?
A: Trance music. It is the most inspiring, relaxing, motivating, intelligent, positive & emotive music out there..
Q: What other genres of music do you listen to?
A: I'll listen to anything but country western.. Not a fan. I love Jazz, (classic & modern) Funk, Soul, rock.. (Pink Floyd is my favourite). Really, my I tunes is full & heaps varied.. One minute trance, then Lenny Kravitz, Then Hardstyle, then Prince.. I just love it all!
Q: What other dj's/mc's do you enjoy listening to and/or having a dance to?
A: Locals.. Suae, Steve Hill & Jumping Jack.. Inters.. Armin, Carl Cox, John 00 Fleming
Q: Any funny moments?
A: Heaps.. Hanging out with the crew is ALWAYS funny! The sydney DJ brothers & sisters are an awesome bunch & always have some classic times!
Q: And the highlight of your career, so far, is?
A: I've had a bunch of hilites.. Playing warm up for Kai Tracid.. Meeting Armin, Playing morning set at Prophecy after Raver Baby Crew in 2006.. there's a bunch of hilites.. But I've really only just begun..
Q: What advice do you have for the up and coming Djs out there?
A: Do it because you love the music.. & never ever give up... the music is the most important thing! & be original! To be yourself is what life is all about.
Q: Any last words?
A: Thankyou Sydney party people for all the support & love you have always given me. It makes me so happy to play for you!
