Yes, one more bad experience.

Some of my friends rocked up to my house back in October. We all went down to the local liquer and bought some alcohol. My one friend who was meant to be the "Designated driver," began to sneak them as we got sufficiently drunk. We made our way out to a swimming hole/campsite, where we ran into some other friends and did some bong loads.

Coming out of that place, we got hailed by an RBT, and my other friends and I expected our driver to pull over. He didn't. Instead he accelerated and chased the police officer onto the opposite side of the road.

Fornsics said he was hit at 70km/h.

It took nearly a minute to convince the driver to pull over and let us out, and we didn't get out of the police station until 5 am the next morning, after having given all our reports.

The moral of this story is:
Never get in the car and drink. It convinces other people to do things.
